A transport truck driver sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash on Highway 417 in Ottawa’s Kanata area on the afternoon of February 4.
The incident occurred in the westbound lanes between Huntmar and Palladium Drives, where the truck hit the median. Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) shared a photo of the crash on X. All lanes of the highway reopened before midnight.
The cause of the collision is under investigation, and anyone with relevant information or footage is asked to contact the OPP.
